Remember Genevieve wrote a blog on the Apps for the Mind?
Self Confidence, Faith, Love, Courage, Power. Be encouraged, all these Apps will add value to your life if you are looking for change in 2013.
Well, I decided to take you a bit deeper on the FAITH App. And to Illustrate that, I have the following quote:”Fear knocked on the door, Faith answered and there was no one there!”
Why not download Faith into your minds as an app today!
Hebrews 11:1 tells us that:” Faith is the substance hoped for, the evidence of the things not seen.”
We should not abandon out Faith when we face challenges, trials and persecution. Faith means resting in Christ for what He has already done for us in the past, but it also means trusting Him for what He will do for us in the present and in the future.
Do you remember how you felt when you were very young and your birthday approached? You were excited and anxious. You knew you would certainly receive gifts and other treats. But some things would be a surprise. Birthdays combine assurance and anticipation, and so does our faith!
Faith is the conviction based on past experiences. God’s new and fresh surprises will surely be ours.
Two words to describe Faith: Confidence and Certainty, these two qualities need to be a secured beginning and end point.
The beginning point is believing in God and the end point is believing in his promises, because He is not a man that He should lie, He will do what He says He will do.
Matthew 17:20 states that:” if you have Faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains.” How amazing is that!!
I know sometimes, we get caught up in our daily challenges and obstacles and we do not take a moment to stop and think. And we tell ourselves:” this situation is too big for me to handle”. But is there anything too hard for God?
By Faith, trust in God and let him take total control of the situation. In our minds, it is just easier to panic and get stressed out. Well, decree and declare today that it is not your portion and download the Faith App which can and will move mountains; how easy is that!!
Sometimes we like to take the steering wheel and control our situations. From now on, sit on the passenger’s side, put your seat belt on, chillax and let God take control of the steering wheel.
